Procedure to add a course to the Core Curriculum
for the University of Georgia
Required:
Approval Process:
- The cover letter should be signed by the department head and forwarded to the dean of the school or college.
- After approval by the dean, the request should be submitted to the Vice President for Instruction and Associate Provost for consideration by the University Curriculum Committee.
- After approval by the University Curriculum Committee, the request will be submitted to the Board of Regents Council on General Education for consideration.
- After approval by the Board of Regents Council on General Education, the course will be added to the Core.
- This information will be distributed University-wide.
